What ID do I need to pick up my firearm?

REQUIRED: Government-issued photo ID

ACCEPTABLE IDs:

• Driver's license (most common)
• State-issued ID card
• Military ID (active duty)
• Passport
• Concealed carry permit (with photo)

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be CURRENT (not expired)
• Photo must be clear and recognizable
• Name must match exactly with your order
• Address must be current (see address requirements below)

ADDRESS REQUIREMENTS:

• ID address must be your current residence
• If you've moved: bring proof of current address
• Acceptable address proof:
• Utility bill (within 30 days)
• Bank statement (within 30 days)
• Lease agreement
• Vehicle registration
• Voter registration card

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Expired IDs (even by one day)
• Photocopies of IDs
• Digital photos of IDs on your phone
• Work IDs or student IDs
• Birth certificates
• Social Security cards

OUT-OF-STATE BUYERS:

• Your state ID is fine for long guns
• Handgun purchases have additional state restrictions
• Some states have waiting periods

MILITARY PERSONNEL:

• Active duty military can use home state for purchases
• Military ID + orders showing duty station location
