Start Every Return With the RMA Form

All returns begin at www.thegundock.com/rma/request/. Fill out the form and a representative will review it and reply with next steps. Please do not ship anything back until you hear from us. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

What Can Be Returned

Most items in new, unused condition with the original manufacturer packaging and all contents can be returned within 30 days of delivery.

Firearms

  • Once you complete the Form 4473 and take possession at your dealer, the sale is final. A transferred firearm is a used firearm and cannot be returned, even if the wrong item was shipped.
  • Inspect the firearm at your dealer before you sign. You have 7 calendar days after it arrives at your dealer to inspect it.
  • If something is wrong, do not complete the transfer. Your dealer can refuse the transfer and send the firearm back to us.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

  • Optics and electronics, unless we shipped the wrong item (warranty issues go to the manufacturer)
  • Opened ammunition, primers, and other hazardous materials
  • Custom orders, special orders, and engraved items
  • Clearance items

Restocking Fee and Shipping

  • A 10% restocking fee applies to returns, and the buyer pays return shipping. Original shipping charges are not refunded.
  • If the item arrived damaged or defective, or we shipped the wrong item, there is no restocking fee, we pay the return shipping, and you receive a full refund including shipping and tax.

GunBroker purchases follow this same return policy.

NFA and Class III Items

Returns are handled case by case because of the transfer paperwork involved. Contact us before doing anything else.

Refunds

Refunds go to the original payment method within 5-10 business days after we receive the return.

Defective Items and Warranties

Every item we sell is new and carries the manufacturer's warranty. If an item is defective, contact us right away through the RMA form and keep all original packaging.
